The Water Management Conference (WWT) is the water policy forum in Austria. As part of the WWT representatives of local authorities, associations, authorities and operators discuss on the future challenges of water management. The first part "water economy in an area of conflict between economy and politics" is complemented by a high-profile panel discussion. On a second day current developments in the water sector are addressed and discussed at the European and national level. "Flood control" and "hydro power" in reference to the second NGP (national water management plan) are further topics of the 21st Austrian Water Management Conference.
