demEAUmed Participation at International Events

Last month, demEAUmed project was presented by several members of the consortium during international events. Among these events are:
- TUI Bestenzirkel Conference, September 6th-07th 2016, Hanover-Germany:
TUI-Hotel group organised an event on sustainability where UVOX, Radtke Biotechnik and alchemia presented demEAUmed project, their technologies and the added value in terms of water efficiency and environmental sustainability in hotels. (link)

-13th IWA Specialized Conference on Small Water and Wastewater Systems (SWWS) and the 5th IWA Specialized Conference on Resources-Oriented Sanitation (ROS), September 14th-16th 2016, Athens – Greece:
The Conference brought together researchers, engineers, water practitioners from academia, industry, water utilities, public authorities and administration to exchange know-how and experiences on innovative systems, technologies and processes which are/can be applied at small and decentralized regions for the management of water and wastewater. ICRA made a presentation during the event , an outcome of a paper made jointly with UNESCO-IHE. (link)

- 22nd SETAC Europe LCA Case Study Symposium, September 20th-22nd, 2016, Montpellier-France:
With the overarching theme of ‘Life Cycle Innovation for the Transition to a Sustainable Society’ this year’s Symposium was designed to provide every opportunity to share and learn about business practice, application experiences and challenges regarding. Both LEITAT and ICRA participated at the event and presented demEAUmed project and covering LCA tasks within the project as well as environmental and water-saving in hotels. (link)
